Hope Caravan distributes Ramadan food aid to needy families in Bursa

The Hope Caravan Association (Umut Kervanı Derneği) has ramped up its humanitarian efforts in Bursa, distributing Ramadan food parcels and meat packages to hundreds of low-income families as the holy month progresses.
The initiative, targeting orphans, widowed families, and others in need, reflects the organization’s commitment to easing financial burdens during this sacred time.
The campaign, which kicked off before Ramadan, has gained momentum with the distribution of essential food supplies, breakfast items, and red meat packages. Ahmet Cihan, head of the Bursa branch, highlighted the scale of the effort, stating, “Thanks to our generous donors, we’ve reached hundreds of families with food and breakfast aid since Ramadan began. As Eid al-Fitr approaches, we’re expanding our distributions, including red meat, to support even more households.”
The association plans to sustain its relief efforts through the end of Ramadan and up to the eve of Eid, ensuring that struggling families are not overlooked during this period of spiritual significance and increased need.
Cihan issued a call to action for philanthropists nationwide: “Let’s unite in hope and extend a hand to the poor. Bring a smile to an orphan or an oppressed soul. Those yet to give their fitrah, zakat, or charity can trust Hope Caravan to deliver it directly to those who need it most.”
Known for its year-round domestic and international aid work, Hope Caravan continues to prioritize support for the poor, widows, and orphans, with a special focus on religious and seasonal occasions. The Bursa initiative underscores the group’s mission to foster solidarity and compassion amid challenging times. (ILKHA)
