After the scandalous decision taken by four Arab countries, Yusuf al-Qaradawi said that they would not be able to capture his opinion even for an hour.

Following the diplomatic crisis launched against Qatar by some Arab countries, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt have scandalized and made a list of 59 people and 12 charities on a “terrorist list”. The list includes those of the President of the World Muslim Scholars Association Yusuf al-Qaradawi.

President of the World Association of Muslim Scholars Yusuf al-Qaradawi issues a statement after the scandals decision of US-puppet countries. He stated that he could live in his country by getting on the car of cruel heads of the state, could reach high positions with small concessions but said he did not choose it.

Yusuf al-Qaradawi's description is as follows:

“I lived in Qatar with my honor and with my head held high. Not one could accuse me of hypocrites even one day in my life. If I was hypocritical, I could have stayed in my country if I was going to get in the car the tyrants. With very little concessions, I could reach the levels that even the lower ones had reached. But I have preferred to protect my religion, I preferred to persevere in the stance and I challenged to the tyrants and said:

“Irons my hands, whip it, lay it in the blade, but you will not be able to jail my idea even for an hour. You will not be able to extinguish the light of my faith. The knowledge of faith is in my heart, my heart is in the hands of my Lord. My Lord is my assistant.” (ILKHA)
