At least 10 people were killed and 45 others injured when a bus crashed in Croatia early Sunday.

The accident took place around 6 a.m. local time near the town of Slavonski Brod on the highway between Zagreb, the capital and largest city of Croatia, and the Serbian border.

“The bus had Kosovo license plates and was on a regular route from Germany to Pristina, the capital of Kosovo,” Croatian police said.

The injured were rushed to a hospital in Slavonski Brod. (ILKHA)
