Civilian death toll surges to 47,161 in Gaza

The death toll of civilians in Gaza due to the Israeli aggression, which began on October 7, 2023, has now reached 47,161, with the majority being children and women.
The aggression has also left 111,166 people wounded, according to medical sources.
The situation on the ground remains dire as thousands of bodies are believed to be trapped under debris or scattered across roads. Ambulance and civil defense teams struggle to access these areas due to relentless Israeli attacks, massive destruction, and acute shortages of fuel and heavy machinery.
In the latest update, hospitals in Gaza received at least 54 bodies, with 53 individuals recovered from under rubble, and one citizen dying from injuries sustained earlier. Over the past 24 hours, 19 people have been reported injured due to the aggression. (ILKHA)
