The Hamas Movement has mourned Palestinians killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Harsh al-Saada area of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, describing the attack as a “massacre” and warning that continued Israeli military operations will deepen anger and confrontation.

Hamas said the airstrike was part of Israel’s longstanding campaign of violence against the Palestinian people, accusing Israeli forces of pursuing a policy of killing, demolition and intimidation.

“The West Bank will remain a source of revolutionaries and acts of resistance,” Hamas said, stressing that Palestinians would continue to hold on to their land, rights and principles.

The movement said the Palestinian resistance would remain committed to the path of those killed until Palestinians achieve freedom and an end to the Israeli occupation.

Hamas held Israel fully responsible for the consequences of the airstrike and the continued escalation of Israeli attacks against Palestinians.

It also warned that continued Israeli aggression would not bring security or stability to Israel, saying instead that such actions would further intensify Palestinian anger and resistance.

The movement called on Palestinians in Jenin and across the occupied West Bank to confront Israeli military operations and settler violence, while urging greater unity among Palestinian factions and national efforts to strengthen Palestinian steadfastness in the face of killing, annexation and displacement.

According to local sources, Qassam Brigades commander Qais al-Baitawi and two of his companions were killed in the Israeli airstrike on the Harsh al-Saada area of Jenin.

Hamas also appealed to Arab and Muslim countries, the international community, and human rights and humanitarian organizations to take immediate action to halt Israeli attacks against Palestinians and their land.

The movement called for an end to impunity for Israeli leaders, arguing that the absence of accountability encourages further violations against Palestinians.

The latest strike comes amid continued Israeli military operations and heightened tensions across the occupied West Bank, particularly in Jenin, which has repeatedly been the focus of Israeli raids and airstrikes. (ILKHA)
