Orphans Foundation provides iftar meals to needy people in Yemen

The Orphans Foundation (Yetimler Vakfı) has distributed iftar meals to 200 people struggling to survive under difficult conditions in Yemen, as part of its ongoing humanitarian aid efforts.
The initiative, part of the foundation’s ongoing aid efforts in the country, not only provided nourishment but also embodied the spirit of solidarity central to Ramadan, bringing hope and morale to those in need.
The iftar distribution was carefully organized to ensure that meals were prepared and packed in hygienic conditions before being delivered to Yemenis facing dire circumstances. Foundation officials emphasized that the effort went beyond merely feeding people, aiming to uplift the spirits of families enduring significant hardships. “These meals not only fed the bellies but also gave morale and strength to Yemeni families who were going through hard times,” a spokesperson for the Orphans Foundation stated.
The event highlighted the profound importance of humanitarian aid in Yemen, where years of conflict, economic collapse, and food insecurity have left millions in desperate conditions. By setting up an iftar table, the foundation fostered a sense of community and togetherness, aligning with the core values of Ramadan—cooperation, compassion, and generosity.
The Orphans Foundation, known for its aid activities across multiple countries, reiterated its commitment to supporting Yemen’s oppressed and vulnerable populations. “We continue to stand by the people of Yemen, emphasizing the importance of cooperation and goodness in accordance with the meaning of Ramadan,” the spokesperson added.
Foundation officials expressed gratitude to philanthropists and donors whose contributions made the initiative possible, noting that sustained support could enable similar humanitarian efforts to reach an even wider audience in Yemen and beyond. “We thank all the philanthropists who contributed to these meaningful donations and point out that if the support continues, such humanitarian aid efforts will expand significantly,” the spokesperson concluded.
This latest effort underscores the Orphans Foundation’s ongoing mission to bring relief and smiles to those in need, particularly in crisis-stricken regions like Yemen, where humanitarian aid remains a lifeline for survival. (ILKHA)
