Two dead and four injured after truck explosion in China’s Inner Mongolia
A truck transporting ammonium nitrate exploded after colliding with another vehicle in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, killing two people and injuring four others, local authorities said.
The accident occurred on National Highway 331 in East Ujimqin Banner when the truck carrying the hazardous chemical collided with another transport vehicle.
A fire broke out after the crash before triggering a powerful explosion.
Two people were killed in the blast, while four others sustained injuries. The injured were taken to hospital for treatment.
