A sniper bullet killed Antonio Halili, mayor of the city of Tanauan in the Philippines during a flag-raising ceremony.
Antonio Halili, who was famous by exposing drug-dealing suspects in streets and also was in the President of the Philippine President Rodrigo's 'officials involved in the drug trade' list, was killed by a sniper shot.
The incident was reflected in the same amateur and confidential camera. It was seen that Halili had collapsed and the surrounding people were experiencing great panic.
While it is not yet known who made the attack, Tanauan police chief Renato Mercado said the sniper had fired at 150 meters and could be a professional sniper.
Halili, who supported that war against drug-dealers launched by Duterte, got in the 'officials involved in the drug trade' list last year.
After the publication of the list, Halili, whose power over local police was curtailed after the government accused him of links to the illegal drugs trade, has denied the accusations. (ILKHA)
