Türkiye’s Presidency Directorate of Communications will organize a program titled “The Global Narrative of the Türkiye Brand: Turkish TV Series” on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, in Istanbul.

The event is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Ataşehir district and will focus on the growing international reach of Turkish television productions and their contribution to Türkiye’s global image.

The program is expected to examine how Turkish TV series have become an increasingly influential element of the country’s cultural outreach, reaching audiences across different regions and contributing to greater international interest in Turkish culture, history, tourism and society.

Turkish series gain global reach

Turkish television dramas have expanded significantly into international markets over the past decade, becoming particularly popular across the Middle East, the Balkans, Latin America, Central Asia and other regions.

The growing international audience for Turkish productions has also created opportunities for Türkiye’s creative industries, while helping promote Turkish actors, production companies, locations and cultural themes abroad.

The Directorate of Communications’ program will place this international success within the broader framework of the Türkiye brand, highlighting the role of cultural products in shaping perceptions of the country overseas.
