Turkey launches Kıran-5 operation, Interior Ministry says

Turkish Interior Ministry announced Friday that Kıran-5 operation has been begun against PKK members with 2,625 personnel and 179 units in the eastern part of the country.
Turkey has begun an operation named Kıran-5 against the PKK members in the country's southeast, the Interior Ministry said on Friday
According to the statement, the operation will be carried out in the countryside of Diyarbakir, Bingöl and Muş provinces to eliminate PKK members in the region. (ILKHA)
