Israeli occupation forces intensified raids and arrests across several parts of the occupied West Bank on Friday, storming Palestinian homes, firing tear gas and assaulting residents, while Israeli settlers carried out further attacks against Palestinians.

The latest raids affected areas around Nablus, Jenin, Hebron, Qalqilya and occupied Jerusalem, adding to growing concerns over Israel’s escalating military campaign and settler violence across the occupied territory.

For the third consecutive day, Israeli police forces maintained control of the Qalandiya Institute north of occupied Jerusalem, while Israeli military vehicles patrolled surrounding areas.

Israeli forces fired tear gas during a raid on Airport Street near Qalandiya refugee camp and arrested a young Palestinian man after storming the camp.

A Palestinian man was injured after being beaten by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Tell, south of Nablus, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

Israeli forces also raided the villages of Awarta, Madama and Urif, south and southeast of Nablus, entering several Palestinian homes in Madama and Urif. Tear gas was fired during the raid on Madama.

The forces also entered Nablus through the Deir Sharaf checkpoint before raiding Beit Iba, west of the city, and areas surrounding the al-Ain refugee camp.

Israeli settler violence was also reported near Beita, south of Nablus.

Settlers reportedly assaulted a Palestinian man and his wife in the Ein Umm al-Jarb area east of Beita, beating the couple and forcing them to leave the area.

The incident came amid continued reports of attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinian communities and farmers across the occupied West Bank.

In the Jenin area, Israeli occupation forces raided Kafr Dan, west of the city, and arrested three young Palestinian men.

The forces also raided an area near the Arab American University housing Palestinians displaced from the Jenin refugee camp, many of whom have already been forced from their homes by Israeli military operations.

In Hebron, Israeli forces raided the al-Murabba'a area and the city, storming several Palestinian homes during operations in the southern part of the area.

Meanwhile, Israeli settlers were reported roaming near Palestinian homes in the al-Dawwara area of Sa'ir, north of Hebron, raising concerns among residents.

In the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, Israeli forces also stormed a Palestinian home during a raid.

The latest wave of raids and settler attacks has further heightened tensions across the occupied West Bank, where Palestinians continue to face arrests, military incursions, home raids, restrictions on movement and attacks by settlers.

Palestinian officials and rights organizations have repeatedly warned that the expanding military raids and settler violence are contributing to a worsening security and humanitarian situation across the occupied territory. (ILKHA)
