Significant earthquake of magnitude 5.5 strikes southeastern Iran

A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck Monday near Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Iran, the country’s Seismological Center said.
The tremor occurred at 12:06 local time, at a shallow depth of 16 km below the surface.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or severe damage. (ILKHA)
